The Scarsdale Jewish Community Association (SJCA) is a civic and community organization created to serve as the organized voice and coordinating body of Scarsdale’s Jewish community.
Rooted in Jewish peoplehood and our shared heritage and culture, SJCA brings together Jewish residents across synagogue affiliations, backgrounds, and levels of observance. We advocate for the interests and well-being of our community, connect residents with local institutions and Jewish organizations, serve as a resource on matters affecting Jewish life in Scarsdale, and help identify and address needs that might otherwise go unmet.
Our goal is simple: to strengthen Jewish communal life in Scarsdale by giving our community a place to connect, communicate, organize, and be heard.
